Description
The most current piece I've done, this time of Inck alone at his father's grave. After doing some much sadder pictures, I wanted one that was a little more thoughtful. I didn't spend much time on this one, mainly the tombstone and Inck's expression. I was going to put Funaaba, Tin-Tin and Sacrum in the distance in the background, but that wasn't working out and I thought it might be better for Inck to be on his own for once.
The words on the far side are a few lyrics from the musical Into the Woods', the song being "No One Is Alone", a gorgeous song that I think really suits the situation he's in.
"Sometimes people leave you
Halfway through the wood.
Do not let it grieve you,
No one leaves for good..."
If I had the talent and the technology, I'd color it and put all the lyrics to the song faintly in the background. But I don't, so I guess I'll leave as it is for now.

Today I went to see Kaysy in Into the Woods, and when they sang that song I thought of this and got all choked up. I'm sorry I didn't comment on this when it was first posted; the drawing is beautiful and the song does fit perfectly. You're a wonderful friend and he's lucky to have you.
